Airport Codes:

A three-letter combination that serves as a unique identification for a particular airport. These codes are used in various applications related to air transportation, including flight bookings, airport information displays, baggage tags, and flight tracking systems. Airport codes are assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and generally consist of the first three letters of the airport’s name. In some cases, the code may be based on the city or country where the airport is located. For instance, YUL is the airport code for Montreal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Canada.
