Certified Travel Industry Specialist (CTIS)
The designation of Certified Travel Industry Specialist (CTIS) is granted to employees of American Bus Association member companies who complete five correspondence courses, of which three are required and two are elective. In addition, candidates must pass a written evaluation consisting of eight marketplace seminars.
This prestigious certification recognizes the specialized knowledge and expertise required to succeed in the travel industry. CTIS holders have demonstrated their commitment to professional development and possess the skills needed to provide exceptional service to customers.
In order to uphold the CTIS designation, certified individuals must maintain their membership in the American Bus Association and participate in ongoing continuing education opportunities. This ensures that they stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and continue to provide top-notch service to their clients.
