Definition of CST

Central Standard Time (CST) is a time zone used in North America that is six hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-6). It is used in a number of countries, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico. CST is also known as “North American Central Standard Time” or “Central Time Zone”.

CST is observed from the first Sunday in November until the second Sunday in March. During this time, areas in this time zone will set their clocks back by one hour to observe Daylight Saving Time.

CST is used by millions of people every day to coordinate meetings, events, and travel across different regions and time zones. It is important for people in these areas to be aware of the time difference between their location and other parts of the world when making plans.
