GAMA Definition

GAMA stands for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, which is a trade association representing manufacturers of general aviation planes, rotorcraft, engines, avionics, and related equipment. GAMA members represent over 80 percent of the global general aviation industry, and the association provides advocacy, representation, and leadership for its members and the industry as a whole. GAMA’s mission is to promote and advocate for policies that foster growth and innovation in the industry, while also providing safety guidance and educational resources for operators and pilots. Through its advocacy efforts, GAMA works to ensure that the general aviation industry remains vibrant, competitive, and vital to global transportation and economic development.
