Definition of Hypoxic Hypoxia:

Hypoxic hypoxia occurs when the body experiences a lack of oxygen due to insufficient amounts of oxygen present in the lungs. This can happen when there is a decrease in the number of oxygen molecules present at a sufficient pressure. In such situations, the body is unable to transport oxygen to the tissues, resulting in a reduction in oxygen levels all throughout the body. The condition can be caused by a number of factors such as high altitude, respiratory disorders, and exposure to certain gases. Symptoms may include shortness of breath, headaches, fatigue, confusion, and loss of coordination. If left untreated, hypoxic hypoxia can lead to serious health complications and even death. Therefore, it is important to identify and treat this condition as soon as possible in order to avoid any adverse effects on the body.
