Incentive or incentive commission

« Back to Glossary Index

Incentive commission refers to an additional form of commission given to an employee or sales agent for achieving specific goals or targets set by the employer or company. It is a way of motivating and incentivizing employees to go above and beyond their regular performance in order to achieve success for the business.

The incentive commission structure is typically based on a percentage of sales or revenue generated by the employee or sales agent, but can also be based on other key performance indicators such as customer retention or new customer acquisition.

This commission structure not only benefits the employee by offering increased earning potential, but also benefits the company by driving increased sales and achieving set targets and objectives. By incentivizing and rewarding top performers, companies are able to foster a culture of excellence and drive success for their business.
