Definition of MST

MST (Mountain Standard Time) is a time zone that is used in North America, specifically in parts of Canada, Mexico, and the United States. It is seven hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-7) during the standard time period, and six hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-6) during daylight saving time.

The Mountain Standard Time zone spans across a vast geographical area, comprising the Rocky Mountains region in the United States and parts of Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon Territory in Canada. Some major cities that fall under MST include Denver, Phoenix, Calgary, and Edmonton.

MST is commonly used in aviation, broadcasting, and telecommunications industries. It is important to keep in mind the time difference between MST and other time zones when scheduling appointments, meetings, or flights across different regions.
