Oil Pressure Gauge
The oil pressure gauge is a vital instrument in an aircraft that provides a visual display of the current pressure of the engine’s lubricating oil. This device enables the pilot to monitor the oil pressure throughout the flight and take immediate action if any abnormal readings occur. The oil pressure gauge is usually positioned on the instrument panel of the cockpit and is connected to a sensor that measures the pressure of the lubricating oil at the point it is discharged from the oil pump. It is an essential component of the aircraft that contributes to the overall safety of the flight and performance of the engine.
