Passport: A government-issued document containing personal information, including name, birthdate, nationality, and photograph of a traveler. The passport also serves as a formal proof of identity, enabling the holder to travel internationally. It helps the immigration officers at the destination country to determine the traveler’s legal status and legitimacy to enter the country. A passport may also contain information about visas and dates of previous international travel. Without a valid passport, the traveler cannot embark on a journey outside their country of domicile. The passport is a crucial document that enables travelers to explore the world, establish their identity, and participate in international affairs.
