What is a Pre- and Post-Trip Tour?

A pre- and post-trip tour refers to an optional package that allows travelers to extend their stay in a destination before or after a scheduled meeting, gathering, or convention. It offers the chance to explore the city or region beyond the meeting or convention agenda.

These tours can be customized and tailored to fit the traveler’s interests and preferences. Activities and attractions that are not part of the scheduled event can be added to the tour itinerary. For instance, a traveler attending a business conference in New York might choose to add a pre-trip tour option to visit the Empire State Building, Central Park, or Broadway.

A post-trip tour, on the other hand, gives travelers the opportunity to unwind and relax after the conference or meeting is over. They can choose to stay longer and explore the destination in depth or indulge in leisure activities like shopping, dining, and sightseeing.

Pre- and post-trip tours are usually organized by travel agencies or tour operators who specialize in business travel. These packages often include transportation, accommodation, and guided tours. By extending their stay, travelers can make the most out of their trip and experience new cultures, traditions, and attractions.
