Receiver-Transmitter (RT)

A Receiver-Transmitter (RT) is an electronic device that has the capability to both receive and transmit signals and indicators. It is commonly used in communication systems where it acts as a transceiver, allowing for bidirectional communication between two or more parties. The RT serves as a critical component in various types of communication systems, such as radar systems, satellite communications, and cellular networks.

The function of an RT is to receive signals from other devices or sources, process them, and then transmit them to the intended recipient. At the same time, it can also receive signals from the recipient and process them for further actions. The RT is essentially a combination of a receiver and a transmitter, possessing the capabilities of both.

On the other hand, the transmitter side of an RT is responsible for generating an electrical signal and then transmitting it to another device.
