Simplex Communication

Simplex communication refers to a mode of communication in which transmission and reception occur on the same frequency. In other words, the communication is unidirectional, with one party transmitting the message and the other party solely receiving it.

This type of communication is often found in situations where a single channel of communication is sufficient. However, it is not ideal for more complex communication scenarios where bi-directional communication is necessary for a meaningful exchange of information.

For example, walkie-talkies typically operate in simplex mode, allowing one person to talk while the other listens. This mode is useful in situations where quick, simple communication is required, such as regulatory or emergency communications.

Overall, simplex communication is a straightforward and efficient mode of communication that is ideal for certain situations. However, its limitations make it unsuitable for more complex communication needs.
