Airspeed  indicator

Airspeed Indicator:

An instrument used in aircraft to measure the dynamic pressure of the air that the aircraft is flying through, which is displayed to the pilot as the craft’s airspeed, usually measured in knots. The airspeed indicator is a differential pressure gauge that functions by comparing the pitot pressure (which measures the impact pressure of the air that the aircraft is flying through) with the static pressure (which measures the atmospheric pressure outside the aircraft). This calculation allows the airspeed indicator to accurately display the aircraft’s relative velocity to the surrounding air. The airspeed indicator is a critical instrument for flight safety, as maintaining the correct airspeed is essential in aircraft control and performance.
