POH/AFM

The Pilot’s Operating Handbook/Airplane Flight Manual (POH/AFM) is a document that provides operating instructions and performance data for a specific aircraft type. It is a vital tool for pilots to effectively and safely operate the aircraft.

The POH/AFM includes information such as normal and emergency procedures, weight and balance limitations, systems descriptions, and performance charts. It also includes details on the aircraft’s limitations, capabilities, and recommended operating procedures.

The document is provided by the aircraft manufacturer as part of the certification process and is required to be on board the aircraft during operation. As such, pilots must be familiar with the contents of the POH/AFM and refer to it regularly to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
