Rotorcraft

A rotorcraft is a flying machine that utilizes a rotating blade or set of blades to generate lift and propulsion. The blades are typically mounted on a central axis, which is powered by an engine or motor to rotate rapidly, allowing the lift generated by the blades to keep the aircraft aloft. Unlike fixed-wing aircraft, rotorcraft can take off and land vertically, making them ideal for use in areas with limited runways or landing sites. Additionally, rotorcraft can hover in place, fly forwards, backwards, and sideways, and perform complex aerial maneuvers with ease. Rotorcraft are used in a wide range of applications including military, civilian, and commercial settings, such as transport, emergency medical services, search and rescue, and law enforcement.
