Definition of Ruddervator
A ruddervator refers to a pair of control surfaces found on the tail of an aircraft designed in a V-shape configuration. These surfaces function as elevators when moved collectively by the control wheel, and as a rudder when moved differentially by the rudder pedals. In other words, a ruddervator combines the functions of both rudder and elevator, providing efficient aircraft control during flight maneuvers.
