Shells

Shells are pre-designed templates that feature photos, illustrations, and graphics but do not include any textual content. They are commonly used in publishing and print media as the starting point for creating promotional materials, brochures, and marketing collateral. Shells can be customized with specific text and branding elements to suit the needs of a particular campaign or publication. This approach simplifies the development process for designers by providing a pre-existing structure that they can work with, allowing them to focus on creating engaging content and enhancing the visual appeal of the materials. Shells are also known as “slicks” and can be an efficient way to streamline the design process while still maintaining a professional and polished appearance in the finished product.
