Definition of Suite

A suite is a type of hotel room with multiple rooms that are connected and form a dwelling within the hotel. Suites usually include a bedroom, as well as a separate living room and kitchenette. This type of accommodation offers more space and amenities than a typical hotel room.

In upscale or luxury accommodations, there are often different types of suites that range in size, luxury, and amenities. A junior suite is typically the smallest and most basic suite, while a presidential or royal suite is the largest and most luxurious.

Suites can also be a single room with distinct sleeping and living areas, often with a kitchenette. This is especially common in extended stay hotels, where guests may want more space and the ability to cook their own meals.

Overall, a suite is a high-end option for travelers who want more space, privacy, and luxury during their hotel stay.
