Synchro technology definition

Synchro technology refers to a device that is commonly used to transmit the indications of angular movement or position to another location. The synchro device is an electromechanical device that is widely used in automation industries, especially in the aviation and military sectors. Its key aim is to transmit accurate information about the position or movement of different parts, such as control surfaces of an airplane, from one location to another.

This technology has many different applications, including remotely controlling robotic devices, aircraft weapons systems, or even communication systems. The synchro device is straightforward in design, consisting of a rotor and a stator. The rotor is often connected to a shaft that is rotating in response to some motion or position change. In contrast, the stator is fixed in place and has a pickup attached to it.

The signal sent through the receiver is usually in the form of an AC voltage. The receiver then converts the signal to the desired information on position or angle of movement.
