ILS Category II
ILS Category II is a precision landing system that enables aircraft to approach the runway and touch down at a height not less than 100 feet with a runway visual range of not less than 1,200 feet. The system uses radio signals to guide the plane in a straight line towards the runway, adjusting its altitude and speed for a safe landing. It is designed to operate in low visibility conditions, such as in fog or heavy rain, by providing pilots with accurate information regarding the correct heading, altitude and speed for approaching the runway.
