Also known as skycaps or baggage handlers, Porters are typically employed by transportation companies or service providers who want to ensure that their customers have a smooth and hassle-free experience.

In addition to handling luggage, Porters may be responsible for performing other tasks such as loading and unloading cargo from vehicles, providing directions and information to travelers, and ensuring that equipment and facilities are clean and in good working order.

Porters must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, as well as possess excellent customer service skills and an understanding of basic safety procedures. They must also be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, as airports and train stations can be very busy and chaotic at times.

Overall, Porters play an important role in ensuring that travelers have a positive and stress-free experience. Their hard work and dedication help to ensure that luggage is handled carefully and efficiently, and that travelers are able to get to their destination safely and on time.
